"That They Might Be Humble"

Hey Everyone :)

Happy Halloween!
In honor of the members we live with I'm going to start off with a joke..

What does the skeleton say before dinner?

- Bone a'ppetit

So this week we had some fun exchanges with our sisters. I went to Kuna with Sister Seller she is amazing. She is such an inspiring missionary, she has overcome so many things to come on her mission and will totally be a blessing to her companions. We had such a great exchange even though almost no one answered it was great to learn from her. The only thing about Kuna with all the dairy's equals all the flies.. it was kinda gross.

We saw tons of miracles in our area this week. we had set a goal to set baptismal dates with our investigators this week. We were able to set three baptismal dates with our investigators. On Wednesday Night we went to visit Christina, our mission presidents wife had called and asked to come to our lesson with us. So we went to teach Christina the Restoration and extend a baptismal date and Sister Sorensen was able to sit in and contribute to our lesson. Christina accepted the baptismal date and it was such a good lesson! Aaron is one of our other investigators his wife Natasha is a member and we had a powerful lesson with them on the plan of salvation there were lots of tears and testimonies borne. Aaron and Natasha have a goal to be sealed in the temple as a family and you can tell how much they truly desire that. As Aaron has been on his journey he truly has desired to know and seek for answers. Kahbrea has been on a journey for a while to be baptized this is the second baptismal date we extended to her. Hopefully with it being in December she is able to find answers and keep her commitments to come to church and the ward has been fabulous at fellowshiping with our investigators.

We had some other investigators that we had appointments with this week but they fell through which is okay but we're hoping to set some more baptismal dates this week. And help people keep their commitments.

We had our wards Trunk or Treats this week. My costume this year wasn't as awesome as last year.. But we dressed up as M&M's with a family in our ward that we loveeee. The Trunk or Treat's were awesome we had a super great turn out in one of our wards, investigators less actives all came it was great. Got some fun pics with my favorite people. And awesome surprise my buddy greggor who we baptized during the summer was here for a visit. It was so good to see him and his sister. I love that boy and he has so much faith!

I've been thinking about weaknesses this week, Sister Seller and I and an awesome talk on overcoming our weaknesses and truly understanding the promise in Ether 12:27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

I love that! " I give men weakness.." It is not a  a sin to be weak. Often times we find ourselves beating ourselves up and weaknesses that we have that we have not overcome. And a majority of the time we are trying to overcome them ourselves. Weaknesses teach us humility as the verse says. invitation to come to know our heavenly father and tap in the grace our savior offers us grace being divine help.. why would we want to do this all on our own?If we have faith that he can help us, faith that he loves us and are humble enough to accept his help  we will be made strong. I love that promise and I know it's true I felt it so much on my mission. I know Heavenly Father loves us, and I love him too (as the primary kids would say..) he is waiting for us to accept his help. Take your weaknesses to him and find strength to be better. I love you all have a great week :)

Check out this awesome article on weaknesses!

All My Love,

Sister Cleveland
